In the 2nd minute, Slawomir Brodzki had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jedrzej Mochadlo during the 3rd minute. Herbert Arnista was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fiugaiken's zone, Fryderyk Rode stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstanty Raschke came out of the goal and Fryderyk Rode tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Walery Panikowski came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Fiugaiken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Panikowski couldn't finish the play. Ulryk Solibieda's late challenge caught a Fiugaiken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulryk Solibieda helped the player get up and apologised. Ulryk Solibieda kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, Fiugaiken's Witold Andrysiak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aureliusz Majczyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fiugaiken reached it. After a rather tough play, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's Remigiusz Sakowicz got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Fryderyk Rode managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Rode was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Fryderyk Rode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstanty Raschke made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fryderyk Rode sent off a good shot on target. ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's Ulryk Solibieda got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Ulryk Solibieda off the ground. In the 26th match minute, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Solibieda to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Kempski to maneuver through the defense. Konstanty Raschke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Kempski in the 35th minute of the match. Remigiusz Sakowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Sakowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stasio Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes in the game, Zdzislaw Kempski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Konstanty Raschke having to interfere. Fryderyk Rode received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Konstanty Raschke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Rode dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Konstanty Raschke, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdzislaw Kempski made a kick off. Fiugaiken's Stasio Zuraw got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Zdzislaw Kempski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Stasio Zuraw took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aureliusz Majczyk to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute Zdzislaw Kempski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Raschke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Remigiusz Sakowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigiusz Sakowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstanty Raschke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fryderyk Rode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Remigiusz Sakowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstanty Raschke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Rode in the 89th minute of play. Fryderyk Rode struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Konstanty Raschke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK. Remigiusz Sakowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Sakowicz in the 93rd minute of play forced Fiugaiken's goalkeeper Konstanty Raschke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Fryderyk Rode ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstanty Raschke was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
