After some careless play in the Ciecierówka defense, Slawomir Miodek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Jaroszewicz. The Ciecierówka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Jaroszewicz should have stopped the shot. If Antoni Burufski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mental Monsters CF's Damazy Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Tyski in the 31st minute of play. Damazy Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Blochowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Jakub Miarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Gecionis was a little too slow when Iwo Blochowiak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Bogdan Nakoneczny put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Mental Monsters CF's Bogdan Nakoneczny got a free kick in the 45th minute. Teofil Dziurowicz, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Iwo Blochowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Blochowiak to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ciecierówka's zone, Jakub Miarka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrzej Jaroszewicz came out of the goal and Jakub Miarka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Sebastian Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrzej Jaroszewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Cempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute Iwo Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Iwo Blochowiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damazy Gecionis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Blochowiak in the 97th minute of play forced Mental Monsters CF's goalkeeper Damazy Gecionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciecierówka's Benedykt Biegun got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
