In the 6th minute, Lucjan Pachucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigiusz Osielski, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wojciech Lodowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Lenertej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Deput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Bejger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Chmielecki having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Legioniści got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Pietrasz. Eugeniusz Wolnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korneliusz Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Wojciech Lodowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Zgonina in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Lenertej in the 27th minute of play forced ZAKON ŻAB's goalkeeper Wojciech Lodowy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Legioniści's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Wolnik came free, but Korneliusz Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes ZAKON ŻAB got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Grunwalski. Eugeniusz Wolnik might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korneliusz Chmielecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugeniusz Wolnik ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugeniusz Wolnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korneliusz Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Tolek Deput received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Korneliusz Chmielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wojciech Lodowy made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alfred Olejniczak sent off a good shot on target. Wojciech Lodowy was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Jerzy Lenertej capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerzy Lenertej really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugeniusz Wolnik to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tolek Deput rounded Legioniści's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Tolek Deput struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Korneliusz Chmielecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZAKON ŻAB. If Tolek Deput had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wojciech Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Zywiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Legioniści's goalkeeper Korneliusz Chmielecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Wolnik. After a rather tough play, Legioniści's Tymoteusz Pietrasz got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eugeniusz Wolnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZAKON ŻAB's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugeniusz Wolnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Chmielecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Wolnik notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Legioniści's Korneliusz Chmielecki. Korneliusz Chmielecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Jerzy Lenertej ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wojciech Lodowy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Wolnik got free with Korneliusz Chmielecki in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Legioniści's goalkeeper Korneliusz Chmielecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Barciniak. Korneliusz Chmielecki came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ZAKON ŻAB's Eugeniusz Wolnik. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Wolnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. ZAKON ŻAB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
