An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Nakonieczny in the 7th minute of play forced FC LUBLIN CZECHOW's goalkeeper Nuno Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Lage didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Redisz went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC LUBLIN CZECHOW's zone, Mieszko Nakonieczny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Lage came out of the goal and Mieszko Nakonieczny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafim Sergipano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herbert Dankowski. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Medeiros in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Dankowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to LKS START getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dobromir Wozniak hit a great ball. Mieszko Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lage having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Sadlowski during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC LUBLIN CZECHOW getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Herbert Sadlowski hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mieszko Nakonieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot. LKS START's supporters rose to their feet, but Mieszko Nakonieczny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Lage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC LUBLIN CZECHOW's Nuno Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Redisz in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes LKS START got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Cwenar. Herbert Dankowski was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Leonardo Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. LKS START's Roman Redisz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Dankowski came out of the goal and Serafim Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, LKS START's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Medeiros came free, but Herbert Dankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, LKS START's Herbert Dankowski got control of the ball when Serafim Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Medeiros to make the kick off. The supporters of FC LUBLIN CZECHOW booed when LKS START was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Wozniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Dankowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Herbert Dankowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LUBLIN CZECHOW. Mieszko Nakonieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes LKS START got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Patora. When Emil Ruzicki came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC LUBLIN CZECHOW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Ruzicki couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Serafim Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Herbert Dankowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Roman Redisz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Nuno Lage successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Sergipano in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Dankowski saved LKS START from getting behind. FC LUBLIN CZECHOW's Leonardo Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Sergipano in the 91st minute of play forced LKS START's goalkeeper Herbert Dankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the LKS START players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC LUBLIN CZECHOW.
