The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Stanislaw Trzemzalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal Giszowiec FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Arsenal Giszowiec FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Arsenal Giszowiec FC's Stanislaw Trzemzalski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Arsenal Giszowiec FC's Alfred Jeziorkowski made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Flis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Adam Fafinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Flis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, MPS Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Jeziorkowski came free, but Zenon Flis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislaw Trzemzalski in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Flis saved MPS Victoria from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Trzemzalski in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Flis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MPS Victoria's Zenon Flis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Trzemzalski in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wit Kalemba during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Wit Kalemba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Arsenal Giszowiec FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislaw Trzemzalski to make the kick off. Zenon Flis made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Adam Fafinski sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Trzemzalski in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Flis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to MPS Victoria getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Wit Kalemba hit a great ball. Stanislaw Trzemzalskis short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Zenon Flis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jaroslaw Prokowski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Stanislaw Trzemzalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zenon Flis was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, MPS Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Kalemba to maneuver through the defense. The MPS Victoria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
