Wojciech Motowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryszard Ostrowski during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to fchopin FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ryszard Ostrowski hit a great ball. Mariusz Sikola succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 27th playminute. Tytus Wysocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Kapinos having to interfere. Wojciech Motowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Burdalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, fchopin FC's Marian Burdalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojciech Motowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 41 played minutes fchopin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Ostrowski. Lech Kapinos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szczepan Skorny's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Daniel Huratiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Motowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Sikola to make the kick off. Wojciech Motowski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by fchopin FC's Daniel Huratiak. But to his dismay, Daniel Huratiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Wojciech Motowski made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Huratiak sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the game, Jan Kisiel threw the ball into play from the sideline. fchopin FC's Ziemowit Motyl quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mariusz Sikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Kapinos having to interfere. A collision led to fchopin FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ludomir Juroszek hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Mariusz Sikola made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. fchopin FC's Lech Kapinos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wojciech Motowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. fchopin FC's Ludomir Juroszek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mieszko Ikalewicz, made in the 92nd minute of the game. The fchopin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing fchopin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
