The referee gave Liverpool FC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mikael Lundhberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mrówa's Wincent Loncki. 0-1. Mrówa's Wincent Loncki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Zembrzuski in the 13th minute of play. If Bartlomiej Bejgier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Mrówa's goal looked a bit too open when Likymnios Chrysanthopoulos came free, but Wincent Loncki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Przemyslaw Zbikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcin Blicharz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Mrówa got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Brodzki. Bartosz Frenzel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcin Blicharz firmly grabbed it by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Likymnios Chrysanthopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Norbert Zembrzuski made a precise shot to the right of Wincent Loncki. Mrówa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 67th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Jajesniak to maneuver through the defense. Wincent Loncki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Likymnios Chrysanthopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Liverpool FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
