Boleslaw Slazak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Sanocki struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hieronim Basinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea FC. Teobald Sebzda charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobald Sebzda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boleslaw Slazak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Chelsea FC's Barnaba Borczak got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester United.
