Manchester United's Hieronim Basinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. Edward Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Hieronim Basinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Reutter in the 26th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miromir Dunajski was the one to do the kick off. Oswald Reutter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hieronim Basinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Manchester United's Hieronim Basinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Reutter in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Oswald Reutter made a precise shot to the right of Hieronim Basinski. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wolverhampton Wanderers had won after a very even match.
