Tolek Pilarczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachary Basinski slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 13th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Zachary Basinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KP Zielona Góra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Basinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KP Zielona Góra's zone, Konrad Fujara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calle Västlund came out of the goal and Konrad Fujara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaroslaw Poteralski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolek Pilarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Basinski in the 22nd minute of play. KP Zielona Góra's Zachary Basinski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Prusinowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tolek Pilarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calle Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Poteralski in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ajax Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Prusinowski came free, but Tolek Pilarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Ajax Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Puch to maneuver through the defense.
