Eric Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Przemyslaw Pietrasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeusz Latkiewicz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Eric Brummer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aivaras Adomavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Bielecki in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Pisarczyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jerzy Hyska who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aivaras Adomavičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Roland Dulka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivaras Adomavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Hyska stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Sliwinski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Pisarczyk. After a defensive mix-up in Słupski Manchester UNITED's zone, Eric Brummer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Pietrasz came out of the goal and Eric Brummer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerzy Hyska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roland Dulka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Filip Sliwinski hit a great ball. Przemyslaw Pietrasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeusz Latkiewicz went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Iwan Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Przemyslaw Pietrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Brummer in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Roland Dulka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aivaras Adomavičius. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Dulka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
