Remigiusz Gongola came out and tried to block the shot, but Radowit Kazanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, A.C. Gumi Elblag's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Kazanowski came free, but Remigiusz Gongola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 minutes, Cezary Trojanowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Gumi Elblag and the DzikiWoliego players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, A.C. Gumi Elblag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Trojanowski to maneuver through the defense. Przemyslaw Hodyl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Banan in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Kazimierz Marajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Hodyl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C. Gumi Elblag's Remigiusz Gongola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Czysty in the 77th minute of play. Remigiusz Gongola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Kazanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Czysty in the 83rd minute of play forced A.C. Gumi Elblag's goalkeeper Remigiusz Gongola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
