Nytych SA's Remigiusz Gierlach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Golob in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Marian Sokolski could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Remigiusz Gierlach however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Cetnar in the 35th minute of play forced Nytych SA's goalkeeper Remigiusz Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacek Golob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remigiusz Gierlach. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Waldemar Ostrowski hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Szymon Mockiewicz made a kick off. After some careless play in the Nytych SA defense, Jacek Cetnar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Gierlach. The Nytych SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Gierlach should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Jacek Cetnar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olgierd Wisniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Wisła Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Czerwinski. Wasyl Flis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wisniewski in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Marian Sokolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigiusz Gierlach was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Jacek Golob came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Wisła Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Golob couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Ostrowski during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remigiusz Gierlach came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wisła Sandomierz's Jacek Cetnar. But to his dismay, Jacek Cetnar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Pincoski during the 87th minute. Wisła Sandomierz walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
