In the 2nd match minute, Marathon Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Basinski to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Maksymilian Banan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maciej Smuskiewicz was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawid Skoroda during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marathon Kraków booed when Goplania Inowroclaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Skoroda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Tobiasz Pieknik made a precise shot to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz. Marathon Kraków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Maciej Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Banan in the 20th minute of play. Radowit Werra hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Goplania Inowroclaw got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Skoroda. 25 minutes into the match, Marathon Kraków's Szymon Zagorski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Falkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, David Bădilescu lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Jacek Falkowski. Wieslaw Mindykowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. The referee gave Marathon Kraków a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Bădilescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goplania Inowroclaw's Jacek Falkowski. 3-1. A collision led to Marathon Kraków getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jerzy Basinski hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Marathon Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Szkarpiak. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Fryderyk Zbytniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goplania Inowroclaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Fryderyk Zbytniewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maciej Smuskiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maksymilian Banan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Szymon Zagorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Marathon Kraków a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Bădilescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goplania Inowroclaw's Jacek Falkowski. 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bădilescu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Falkowski saved Goplania Inowroclaw from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Marathon Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Indyk. Maksymilian Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Smuskiewicz having to interfere. Maciej Smuskiewicz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Maksymilian Banan sent off a good shot on target. Szymon Zagorski struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jacek Falkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marathon Kraków. If Maksymilian Banan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If David Bădilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd play minute Maksymilian Banan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maciej Smuskiewicz. 4-2. 97 minutes into the game, Wincenty Dziatkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goplania Inowroclaw's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marathon Kraków the free kick. Marathon Kraków were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Goplania Inowroclaw for a fine match.
