After having played for 7 minutes, Fabian Nikodemski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Nikodemski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cudaki FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Fabian Nikodemski scored to the left of an out of position Tolek Penczkowski, making the score, 1-0. Cudaki FC's Wieslaw Sroki got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Domaracki in the 17th minute of play forced Byala's goalkeeper Jerzy Karp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Nikodemski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Penczkowski having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michal Chlebek during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wieslaw Sroki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Korneliusz Dresik came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Byala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Dresik couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cudaki FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Radowit Sakowicz hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Slawomir Czajkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Korneliusz Dresik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Nikodemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Byala's Jerzy Karp got control of the ball when Sylwester Pleban tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cudaki FC's zone, Fabian Nikodemski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Penczkowski came out of the goal and Fabian Nikodemski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Byala were the better team. Byala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
