In the 7th minute of the match, Kazimierz Barys tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerzy Matuch saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gilbert Szostak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Witrogoszcz SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Szostak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Matuch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilbert Szostak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerzy Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Filipowski in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wincent Fink during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Witrogoszcz SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Fink to maneuver through the defense. Mateusz Prosowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Sienkowski having to interfere. Bogumil Bejgier kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Witrogoszcz SSA booed when FC Wisla Plock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Radziszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Dobilas was the one to do the kick off. Bogdan Radziszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Karol Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes FC Wisla Plock got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Prosowski. FC Wisla Plock's Jerzy Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Banas in the 70th minute of play. If Karol Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincent Fink was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th minute, Wincent Fink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Wisla Plock's Bogdan Radziszewski got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of FC Wisla Plock booed when Witrogoszcz SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Barys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateusz Prosowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
