Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Slawomir Narbut kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jurand Iwaszko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateusz Rostow was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Reduta Modlin's zone, Slawomir Narbut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateusz Rostow came out of the goal and Slawomir Narbut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Slawomir Narbut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pretoria Olsztyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Mateusz Kaczucha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pretoria Olsztyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reduta Modlin the free kick. In the 29th minute, Mateusz Kaczucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reduta Modlin's Mateusz Rostow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Iwaszko in the 32nd minute of play. The Pretoria Olsztyn fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Pretoria Olsztyn's Mateusz Kaczucha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Pretoria Olsztyn were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mieszko Hodyl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
