Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dariusz Gniech started the match with the kick off. Cyryl Solibieda hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Gniech's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Pilsudski was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 18thth minute of the game Dariusz Gniech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Warszawa's Radomir Pilsudski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jurand Iwaszko scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Pilsudski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boguslaw Duszenski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tytus Cholewa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Pretoria Olsztyn's Dariusz Gniech made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Pilsudski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Pretoria Olsztyn's goalkeeper Walery Kloczko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kryspin Werra. After having played for 40 minutes, Tytus Cholewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pretoria Olsztyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Cholewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Mazierski in the 43rd minute of play forced Pretoria Olsztyn's goalkeeper Walery Kloczko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Duszenski was the one to do the kick off. Radomir Pilsudski made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mateusz Kaczucha sent off a good shot on target. Kryspin Werra charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kryspin Werra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kryspin Werra hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Radomir Pilsudski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gniech in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Filip Kaczorowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Legia Warszawa's zone, Dariusz Gniech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomir Pilsudski came out of the goal and Dariusz Gniech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Pretoria Olsztyn got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Cholewa. Radomir Pilsudski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gniech in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Radomir Pilsudski managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Pretoria Olsztyn's Jurand Iwaszko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Radomir Pilsudski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Gniech's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Dariusz Mazierski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pretoria Olsztyn the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Gniech in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomir Pilsudski saved Legia Warszawa from getting behind. Pretoria Olsztyn's Walery Kloczko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pstrongowski in the 74th minute of play. When Cyryl Solibieda fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Warszawa's protests and gave Cyryl Solibieda a yellow card for diving instead. Radomir Pilsudski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Gniech in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Mazierski in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walery Kloczko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the game, Pretoria Olsztyn's Jurand Iwaszko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomir Pilsudski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kryspin Werra hit a great ball. Pretoria Olsztyn's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
