An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Sidorowicz in the 15th minute of play forced KS Ruch Radzionków's goalkeeper Emmanuel Refning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Refning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Ziombkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes KS Ruch Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Zabrzeski. 26 minutes into the match, Wieslaw Ziombkowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KS Ruch Radzionków's Emmanuel Refning. Emmanuel Refning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Wieslaw Skonieczny fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Radzionków's protests and gave Wieslaw Skonieczny a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, KS Ruch Radzionków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Skonieczny to maneuver through the defense. If Galip Doğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wlodzimierz Czeberowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Patrylo got free with Emmanuel Refning in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Budowlani Częstochowa's Emmanuel Refning threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Sidorowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Szkaradek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Stanislaw Lizewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Szkaradek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislaw Lizewski ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Radzionków's goalkeeper Emmanuel Refning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Ziombkowski. Zbyszko Zabrzeski was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Radzionków's Zbyszko Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 86th minute. Budowlani Częstochowa's Filip Pietrasz got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszek Okraszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Szkaradek having to interfere. If Galip Doğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Budowlani Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Pietrasz to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Zbyszek Okraszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KS Ruch Radzionków's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
