The audience was convinced that Zachary Absolwent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartosz Bronkala was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half KKS Lech Żory SSA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zbyszek Lagiewniki came out of the goal and Gwidon Erland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gwidon Erland managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Erland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszek Lagiewniki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute Zachary Absolwent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Bronkala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Kochanowski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Zbyszek Lagiewniki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Erland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
