Leon Osowski's late challenge caught a KS Ruch Radzionków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Osowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Obrona getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wincent Rasialdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Emmanuel Refning made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Obrona got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Marchefka. Feliks Niziolek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Lizewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Obrona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kacper Rostow who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the KS Ruch Radzionków defense, Bartosz Ochabski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emmanuel Refning. The KS Ruch Radzionków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emmanuel Refning should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Patryk Marchefka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Refning. KS Ruch Radzionków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patryk Marchefka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Emmanuel Refning successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Galip Doğu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Feliks Niziolek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Lizewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Feliks Niziolek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Stanislaw Lizewski came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the KS Ruch Radzionków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Lizewski couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Edgar Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Obrona's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Rostow came free, but Feliks Niziolek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes KS Ruch Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Igor Rawa. In the 46th minute, Leszek Grucza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emmanuel Refning. The goal made the score 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartosz Ochabski to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Patryk Marchefka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Emmanuel Refning was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Stanislaw Lizewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patryk Marchefka got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some careless play in the Obrona defense, Stanislaw Lizewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Niziolek. After 66 played minutes KS Ruch Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Okraszewski. Napoleon Jaroch hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in KS Ruch Radzionków's zone, Wincent Rasialdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuel Refning came out of the goal and Wincent Rasialdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Obrona's Feliks Niziolek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Obrona from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Stanislaw Lizewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Niziolek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Niziolek came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Ruch Radzionków's Galip Doğu. But to his dismay, Galip Doğu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 84th minute, Igor Rawa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
