But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Gozdowski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Szelków's Leszek Cipinski got control of the ball when Maciej Gozdowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Gozdowski got free with Leszek Cipinski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kryspin Wieczorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Beninda in the 22nd minute of the match. Zenon Szkaradek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Leszek Cipinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gwidon Jekot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kryspin Wieczorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andrzej Beninda fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szelków's protests and gave Andrzej Beninda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Andrzej Beninda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, WILD DUCK's Milosz Kazanowski got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kryspin Wieczorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Beninda in the 67th minute of the match. When Wawrzyniec Penkalski fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WILD DUCK's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Penkalski a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes WILD DUCK got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Penkalski. Kryspin Wieczorek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gwidon Jekot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Szelków supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szelków would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
