The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Pankiewicz in the 4th minute of play forced FC Gutkowo's goalkeeper Zygmunt Rzeszutko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Klement Polek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astra Halemba's Dariusz Grucza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes FC Gutkowo got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Petrasz. Zbyszek Pankiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Rzeszutko having to interfere. Dariusz Grucza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Polek in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Astra Halemba's Benedykt Karp seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benedykt Karp the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Astra Halemba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benedykt Karp had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Astra Halemba's Benedykt Karp got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Astra Halemba's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Rybak came free, but Dariusz Grucza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Grucza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Miarka in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Zbigniew Czysta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zygmunt Rzeszutko skillfully saved the ball. Dariusz Grucza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Piglowski in the 40th minute of play. Zygmunt Rzeszutko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The FC Gutkowo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The wind increased when Klement Polek made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Klement Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Grucza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gutkowo's goalkeeper Zygmunt Rzeszutko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dariusz Grucza came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gutkowo's Antoni Miarka. But to his dismay, Antoni Miarka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Klement Polek came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Gutkowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Polek couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Astra Halemba booed when FC Gutkowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Petrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Astra Halemba's Antoni Lenertej slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zygmunt Rzeszutko. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. Dariusz Grucza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Polek in the 84th minute of the match.
