The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Danziger's Emmanuel Céliz got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pawel Augustyniak charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Augustyniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Pawel Augustyniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Graiwen's zone, Emmanuel Céliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witomir Mielak came out of the goal and Emmanuel Céliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Céliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witomir Mielak. Graiwen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanuel Céliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Witomir Mielak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Aresti's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Graiwen defense, Emmanuel Céliz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Witomir Mielak. The Graiwen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Witomir Mielak should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Emmanuel Céliz sped through Graiwen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witomir Mielak. Lucjan Banaszak's late challenge caught a Danziger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Banaszak helped the player get up and apologised. Lucjan Banaszak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Emmanuel Céliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witomir Mielak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Emmanuel Céliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Emmanuel Céliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Mielak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danziger's attack was well implemented in the 38th minute, but when Emmanuel Céliz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 39th minute Emmanuel Céliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Mielak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Céliz struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Witomir Mielak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danziger. The Graiwen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Danziger were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Lucjan Banaszak made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Aresti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Witomir Mielak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Danziger's Zachariasz Tylenda got a free kick in the 68th minute. Marcin Zgonina's late challenge caught a Graiwen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcin Zgonina helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Danziger got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Zgonina. Danziger's attack was well implemented in the 74th minute, but when Emmanuel Céliz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Silvestre Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Danziger's Emmanuel Céliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witomir Mielak. Witomir Mielak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When Zachariasz Tylenda came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Danziger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariasz Tylenda couldn't finish the play. If Emmanuel Céliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Graiwen getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zdzislaw Czeszejko hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Danziger left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Graiwen.
