In the 9th minute Fabian Szkarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Ludwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Kaznocha kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A hard shot by Tytus Juroszek from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Miromir Ludwa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 17 minutes into the game, Jurand Marut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boreham Wood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Droscheydau SA the free kick. The supporters of Droscheydau SA booed when Boreham Wood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Marut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes, Karol Sitko made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Droscheydau SA's Miromir Ludwa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karol Sitkos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Miromir Ludwa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boreham Wood FC's Fabian Szkarpiak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miromir Ludwa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 31 minutes of play, Boreham Wood FC's Karol Sitko made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miromir Ludwa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miromir Ludwa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Sitko's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Droscheydau SA's Cezary Mroczynski got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Droscheydau SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Maziarz to maneuver through the defense. Damian Niedziela charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Niedziela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Boreham Wood FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Damian Niedziela hit a great ball. The supporters of Boreham Wood FC booed when Droscheydau SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Winograd didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Roman Bubczyk put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wlodzimierz Kilarski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolek Mindykowski made a kick off. Michal Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Ludwa having to interfere. Roman Bubczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Kilarski made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Sitko in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Ludwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Rutecki during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Boreham Wood FC got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Rutecki. When Olaf Piechocki fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Droscheydau SA's protests and gave Olaf Piechocki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Droscheydau SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Piechocki to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Karol Sitko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boreham Wood FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Sitko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miromir Ludwa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Bubczyk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wlodzimierz Kilarski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Droscheydau SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
