But to his dismay, Ciro Ferrara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulysses de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arnoud Ooms sent off a good shot on target. Dafin Partalev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Adamczycha's Leon Milko got a free kick in the 27th minute. Carlos Augusto Arruda's shot from long distance in the 29th minute was not bad at all, but Adamczycha's Ulysses de Alcântara knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 34th minute Tobiasz Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
