After 4 minutes of play, FC Ba2a's Boleslaw Walkowski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaroslaw Borczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute Izydor Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Borczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Redisz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ignacy Kempski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Witomir Pawelczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Artur Rydzyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Rydzyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Karol Redisz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halik FC's protests and gave Karol Redisz a yellow card for diving instead. Karol Redisz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Izydor Rosiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Ba2a fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Rosiewicz couldn't finish the play. Jaroslaw Borczak made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Boleslaw Walkowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, Halik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Pawelczyk to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Walkowski got free with Jaroslaw Borczak in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Halik FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Gall. Halik FC's Jaroslaw Borczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Rosiewicz in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Rosiewicz in the 37th minute of play forced Halik FC's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Borczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Ba2a's Boleslaw Walkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Izydor Rosiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halik FC's Jaroslaw Borczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogumil Trela to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Izydor Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Borczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes FC Ba2a got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Del Rosso. The supporters of Halik FC booed when FC Ba2a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Rosiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Borczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Walkowski in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Ba2a fans cheered their team off the field, for while Halik FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
