The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Szymon Chwalkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schwanau SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szymon Chwalkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Debowy in the 7th minute of play forced Schwanau SSA's goalkeeper Miromir Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Szymon Chwalkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schwanau SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Chwalkiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Siedlecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyprian Siedlecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Parajewski in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Kazimierz Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatarczysko SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sylwester Debowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Bernard Bejger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Napoleon Gregorczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Siedlecki. Tatarczysko SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleon Gregorczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Szymon Chwalkiewicz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tatarczysko SSA's Cyprian Siedlecki. Cyprian Siedlecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Szymon Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Siedlecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tatarczysko SSA's Cyprian Siedlecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Gregorczyk in the 35th minute of play. Cyprian Siedlecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Bejger, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eugeniusz Klawke charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Klawke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tatarczysko SSA's Eugeniusz Klawke got a free kick in the 41st minute. Miromir Marchewka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Debowy in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schwanau SSA's goalkeeper Miromir Marchewka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Napoleon Gregorczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Schwanau SSA's Cyprian Siedlecki threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernard Bejger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Juliusz Brytka fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatarczysko SSA's protests and gave Juliusz Brytka a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Tatarczysko SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Brytka to maneuver through the defense. Tatarczysko SSA's Cyprian Siedlecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Gregorczyk in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kazimierz Barna in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Marchewka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Janusz Jajecznica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schwanau SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to Tatarczysko SSA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Juliusz Brytka hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tatarczysko SSA's Stefan Pinczewski got a free kick in the 70th minute. Slawomir Smolak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyprian Siedlecki. Tatarczysko SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernard Bejger took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyprian Siedlecki. Cyprian Siedlecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bernard Bejger was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bernard Bochynski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miromir Marchewka. Schwanau SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Szymon Chwalkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Siedlecki having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Schwanau SSA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
