The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lech Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Mockiewicz in the 3rd minute of the match. Robert Lewalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Konopka having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Roch Mockiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lech Konopka. Roch Mockiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lech Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Petrov in the 11th minute of the match. Danny Bangsbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, KS Powstańcy's Lech Konopka threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martín Petrov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Izydor Ludwa hit a great ball. Danny Bangsbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Majewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danny Bangsbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Smolarek in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Smolarek in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Bangsbye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Lewalski came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lech Konopka could save by the left post. Rafal Szostak kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Robert Lewalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Konopka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Red Army's Lech Konopka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Izydor Ludwa got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Martín Petrov made the kick off in the second half. 3-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Martín Petrov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Martín Petrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lech Konopka was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute KS Powstańcy were awarded a corner. Roch Mockiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, KS Powstańcy's Bernard Moczkiewicz got a free kick in the 67th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Bernard Moczkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Konopka. Red Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Moczkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. KS Powstańcy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
