After 6 minutes of play, AS Gdynia's Pawel Wolnik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izydor Pietrasz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Wolnik in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izydor Pietrasz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Izydor Pietrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Dziurowicz in the 14th minute of the match. AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Quiroga in the 15th minute of play. Izydor Pietrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Wolnik in the 17th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Stal Rzeszów's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Wolnik came free, but Izydor Pietrasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Tomasz Frankowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stal Rzeszów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Dziurowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Izydor Pietrasz was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Tomasz Frankowski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of AS Gdynia's Fryderyk Cizeski. Fryderyk Cizeski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pawel Wolnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AS Gdynia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Tomasz Frankowski scored to the left of an out of position Fryderyk Cizeski, making the score, 4-2. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Dziurowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Izydor Pietrasz was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

When Tobiasz Dziurowicz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AS Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Dziurowicz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Wolnik in the 54th minute of play forced Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Izydor Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Dziurowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. A collision led to AS Gdynia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tobiasz Dziurowicz hit a great ball. Pawel Wolnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Pawel Wolnik sped through Stal Rzeszów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Izydor Pietrasz. After 72 minutes of play, Stal Rzeszów's Rafael Quiroga made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Cizeski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Stal Rzeszów were awarded a corner. Rafael Quiroga went to the cornerflag to take it. Stal Rzeszów's Wit Dobrzechowski was substituted for Hieronim Piczak. AS Gdynia made a substitution. Max Duinhoven replaced Leonard Lenertej. The referee ignored AS Gdynia's protests and gave Lajos Markos a yellow card for diving instead. Fryderyk Cizeski had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafael Quiroga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee ended the match the Stal Rzeszów players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
