An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Gheorghe in the 10th minute of play forced Sparta Torex's goalkeeper Dominik Kornatowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Mikulski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dominik Kornatowski made a huge save. FC MARCCO's Lucjan Mikulski suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bartosz Jaktorowo's late challenge caught a FC MARCCO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 35 played minutes, FC MARCCO's Jaroslaw Lichniak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominik Kornatowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylwester Gruchacz to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Horia Gheorghe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MARCCO's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Gheorghe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Kornatowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
