The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Jacek Starogardzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NRSL Bykowina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Starogardzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Roman came free, but Efraín Zercalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Segundo Abecia came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the LIRA ELBLĄG SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Abecia couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, NRSL Bykowina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun Kearney to maneuver through the defense. Igor Bentkowski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of NRSL Bykowina booed when LIRA ELBLĄG SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Trojanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Shayne Collins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NRSL Bykowina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LIRA ELBLĄG SSA the free kick. The supporters of LIRA ELBLĄG SSA booed when NRSL Bykowina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Daniel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to NRSL Bykowina getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jacek Starogardzki hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Damian Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Sanocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, NRSL Bykowina's Florian Dziurowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efraín Zercalde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Segundo Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Sanocki having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Dziurowicz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes LIRA ELBLĄG SSA got a freekick which was hit by Michal Logewnik. When NRSL Bykowina's Cyryl Roman in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute, Igor Bentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Cyryl Roman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NRSL Bykowina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lukasz Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Efraín Zercalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Dziurowicz in the 75th minute of play. Efraín Zercalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Roman in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind NRSL Bykowina's goalkeeper Lukasz Sanocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Roman in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efraín Zercalde saved LIRA ELBLĄG SSA from getting behind. After 87 minutes of play, LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Daniel Montenegro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Sanocki was left in no man's land by his defense there! NRSL Bykowina made a substitution. Dariusz Kapelski replaced Cyryl Roman. Efraín Zercalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Kapelski in the 92nd minute of play. Damian Posadzki hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
