After a defensive mix-up in THC 2003 Team's zone, Fryderyk Harendarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witomir Polakowski came out of the goal and Fryderyk Harendarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes, Kozakken Boys's Wincenty Bielecki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Witomir Polakowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kozakken Boys reached it. After a rather tough play, Kozakken Boys's Wincenty Bielecki got a free kick in the 47th minute. The THC 2003 Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kozakken Boys were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fryderyk Harendarski made a kick off.
