Burza Rogi's Szczepan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Polek in the 8th minute of play. Boruc Radzyminski struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Przemyslaw Balonek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burza Rogi. With his leg Szczepan Orlicki managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Klopsztanga Radzionków's Juliusz Polek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Przemyslaw Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Okropny, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Przemyslaw Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Radzyminski in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Klopsztanga Radzionków's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Mockiewicz came free, but Przemyslaw Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Burza Rogi's goalkeeper Szczepan Orlicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Ziemniak. Boruc Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Klopsztanga Radzionków's Juliusz Polek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Szczepan Orlicki. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. After 46 played minutes Burza Rogi got a freekick which was hit by Klement Kalemba. A hard shot by Boleslaw Cerocki from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Szczepan Orlicki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Ziemniak in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szczepan Orlicki saved Burza Rogi from getting behind. Wincent Madajczyk hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ryszard Ziemniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Orlicki having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Klopsztanga Radzionków's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Okropny came free, but Przemyslaw Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Boruc Radzyminski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Przemyslaw Balonek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 65 minutes, Alfred Zawadzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klopsztanga Radzionków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Zawadzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boruc Radzyminski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Przemyslaw Balonek came out and tried to block the shot, but Boruc Radzyminski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Boleslaw Cerocki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Szczepan Orlicki. Burza Rogi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Czeslaw Okropny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klopsztanga Radzionków's Przemyslaw Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Radzyminski in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Juliusz Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Orlicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Ziemniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szczepan Orlicki was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Alfred Zawadzki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szczepan Orlicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Przemyslaw Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Okropny in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Klopsztanga Radzionków! Szczepan Orlicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Ziemniak in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Klopsztanga Radzionków got a corner. Burza Rogi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boleslaw Cerocki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Boleslaw Cerocki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Burza Rogi's Szczepan Orlicki did a great save. Burza Rogi played a much better game than Klopsztanga Radzionków and deserved their victory. The Klopsztanga Radzionków players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
