In the 8th minute, Wlodzimierz Zyskowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, B.S.E.Junior's Teobald Kazczyk got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dobromir Lewandowski struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Olgierd Pilipiec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIVERPOOL1972. 14 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL1972's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Byczewski came free, but Mateo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wlodzimierz Zyskowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Dunajski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Olgierd Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Zapolski in the 31st minute of play forced B.S.E.Junior's goalkeeper Olgierd Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to B.S.E.Junior getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Teobald Kazczyk hit a great ball. Emil Lepucki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olgierd Pilipiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, LIVERPOOL1972's Leszek Witkowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olgierd Pilipiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Byczewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Jago having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, B.S.E.Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Czerniejewski to maneuver through the defense. B.S.E.Junior's Julian Byczewski got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The B.S.E.Junior players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LIVERPOOL1972 were winning 0-1.

Ksawery Czerniejewski scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Jago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateo Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Byczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Byczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wlodzimierz Zyskowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leszek Witkowskis short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Olgierd Pilipiec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leszek Witkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Olgierd Pilipiec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mateo Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Byczewski in the 66th minute of the match. B.S.E.Junior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Liermann in the 68th minute. Olgierd Pilipiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Zapolski in the 69th minute of play. LIVERPOOL1972's Napoleon Skrzypiec was substituted for Ruben Abastas. Mateo Jago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Byczewski went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Emil Lepucki took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Olgierd Pilipiec to make any attempt to save it. Emil Lepucki scored 2-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Pilipiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. B.S.E.Junior's Olgierd Pilipiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Zapolski in the 90th minute of play. Emil Lepucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Pilipiec having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Aleksander Zapolski took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Olgierd Pilipiec to make any attempt to save it. LIVERPOOL1972's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
