Julian Zbydniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Prus in the 12th minute of play. Smieciarze's Julian Zbydniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Kuszczak in the 13th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Turek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Kuszczak in the 34th minute of play forced Smieciarze's goalkeeper Julian Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Smieciarze's Julian Zbydniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Pryputnicki in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when Smieciarze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Piczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Norbert Mikulski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Smieciarze. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Tusk in the 39th minute of play forced Smieciarze's goalkeeper Julian Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Zbydniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Prus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herbert Galus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Herbert Galus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smieciarze were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Golob took the corner. Sebastian Golob made a great header on Smieciarze's corner, it was just that GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Jan Turek managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Jekot in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Turek saved GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ from getting behind. When Stefan Pryputnicki came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Pryputnicki couldn't finish the play. Julian Zbydniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Prus in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Leszek Tusk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Zbydniewski. Leszek Tusk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 76thth minute of the game Hieronim Jekot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Jan Turek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wincent Wierzcholek kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Iwo Kuszczak hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Krzysztof Prus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julian Zbydniewski. The goal made the score 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Pryputnicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Zbydniewski. That made the score 0-4 in the 89 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Norbert Mikulski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Zbydniewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Smieciarze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norbert Mikulski was slow to take the kick. During this time GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's players had a chance to rest. Norbert Mikulski made a great header on GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's corner, it was just that Smieciarze's Julian Zbydniewski managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Prus in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Zbydniewski saved Smieciarze from getting behind. Smieciarze's Julian Zbydniewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Smieciarze from getting a goal against them. The GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
