Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hieronim Jekot in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Skrzypiec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mieszko Skrzypiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Jekot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoslaw Piczak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. Mieszko Skrzypiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Jekot, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Roland Japola came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julian Zbydniewski could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Smieciarze's Hugon Przebendowski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Bielenda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smieciarze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piast Choszczno the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Smieciarze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Bielenda to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hieronim Jekot was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Dominik Rykaczewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smieciarze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Rykaczewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mieszko Skrzypiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Jekot in the 57th minute of the match. Piast Choszczno's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Hieronim Jekot scored to the left of an out of position Mieszko Skrzypiec, making the score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hieronim Jekot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smieciarze's supporters rose to their feet, but Hieronim Jekot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mieszko Skrzypiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Smieciarze booed when Piast Choszczno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Barycz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Hieronim Jekot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piast Choszczno's Mieszko Skrzypiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Smieciarze's zone, Lucjan Czech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Zbydniewski came out of the goal and Lucjan Czech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Czech scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Zbydniewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Piast Choszczno's zone, Dominik Rykaczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Skrzypiec came out of the goal and Dominik Rykaczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mieszko Skrzypiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Jekot in the 84th minute of play. Dominik Rykaczewski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Smieciarze got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Przebendowski. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Smieciarze had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
