Pogoń Szczecin's Nechifor Cocârlă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Sliwinski in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute, LKS Mlexer Elblag's Bogumil Patora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nechifor Cocârlă. Nechifor Cocârlă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kajetan Wejta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nechifor Cocârlă made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jerzy Sliwinski took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nechifor Cocârlă to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to LKS Mlexer Elblag getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jerzy Sliwinski hit a great ball. Mikolaj Gibowski scored 3-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nechifor Cocârlă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Kajetan Wejta could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Nechifor Cocârlă however easily saved by the left post. Mikolaj Gibowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nechifor Cocârlă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikolaj Gibowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LKS Mlexer Elblag booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Zbydniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michaël Coadã made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zachariasz Wnukowski. In the 93rd minute Jerzy Sliwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Cocârlă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, LKS Mlexer Elblag's Bogumil Patora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Cocârlă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the LKS Mlexer Elblag players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
