Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Zacharek hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC ZABŁOTCE getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sylwester Dawiec hit a great ball. Dominik Brysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafal Kisielka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomir Zacharek in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Borys Kiszkiel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC ZABŁOTCE's Rafal Kisielka. Rafal Kisielka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Stefan Banach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Cwojdak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Kiszkiel in the 37th minute of play forced FC ZABŁOTCE's goalkeeper Rafal Kisielka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Borys Kiszkiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Kisielka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Rafal Kisielka successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dominik Brysz was slow to take the kick. During this time GKS Katowice's players had a chance to rest. After 47 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Cwojdak. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyryl Marchewka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafal Kisielka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Klement Gabis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Betão Pontes made a huge save. Rafal Kisielka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezary Kasiewski went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the game, FC ZABŁOTCE's Radoslaw Mockiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Zacharek in the 94th minute of play forced FC ZABŁOTCE's goalkeeper Rafal Kisielka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
