Borussia Dortmund's Radomir Olszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Domaracki in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Banan in the 4th minute of play forced Forty Piątnica's goalkeeper Dominik Ciborek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Radomil Dudek hit a great ball. If Arkadiusz Domaracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Fink during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Fink. After 16 minutes of play, Forty Piątnica's Cezary Munko made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Olszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 20 minutes, Radomil Gollob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Gollob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jan Cichocki sped through Forty Piątnica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominik Ciborek. When Borussia Dortmund's Kajetan Banan in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forty Piątnica's goalie prevented a goal. Bernard Dres in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radomir Olszewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Kajetan Banan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Ciborek came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Jan Cichocki. But to his dismay, Jan Cichocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

After 53 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Zima. In the 56th minute, Janusz Miecznikowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Forty Piątnica's Rafal Debowy in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 61 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Munko came free, but Radomir Olszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Radomir Fink got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Radomil Gollob hit a great ball. After 65 minutes of play, Forty Piątnica's Tanek Piszczor made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Olszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Forty Piątnica's Arkadiusz Domaracki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomir Olszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Forty Piątnica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Kajetan Banan scored to the left of an out of position Dominik Ciborek, making the score, 3-3. In the 76th minute, Zdzislaw Kicia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forty Piątnica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. 83 minutes into the match, Forty Piątnica's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Banan came free, but Dominik Ciborek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Kicia came free, but Radomir Olszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Forty Piątnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Piszczor to maneuver through the defense. Radomir Olszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zdzislaw Kicia went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Forty Piątnica fully deserved thier win.
