After 17 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Ana Wojno. Real Madrid's Waclaw Sadlowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Ana Wojno got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Ture Arenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waclaw Sadlowski came out of the goal and Ture Arenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes VARSZAWIANKA got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Nowacki. In the 30th minute, Alexander Eugene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Arenius got free with Waclaw Sadlowski in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Ture Arenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Sadlowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ture Arenius was the one to do the kick off. After 53rd play minutes Ture Arenius shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Waclaw Sadlowski and just under the crossbar into goal. 58 minutes into the match, VARSZAWIANKA's goal looked a bit too open when Baiona Viñuela came free, but Vacid Gündeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Alexander Eugene had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacid Gündeş. VARSZAWIANKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Eugene was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 68th minute of the match, Baiona Viñuela got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vacid Gündeş was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ture Arenius in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Sadlowski saved Real Madrid from getting behind. When Alexander Eugene came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Eugene couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Wiktor Loncki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VARSZAWIANKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid the free kick. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when VARSZAWIANKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Loncki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ivan Gologan sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Vacid Gündeş threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ivan Gologan this time. Ksawery Poteralski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Sadlowski having to interfere. Vacid Gündeş made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Baiona Viñuela sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Milko. When Ksawery Poteralski fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VARSZAWIANKA's protests and gave Ksawery Poteralski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Ksawery Poteralski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VARSZAWIANKA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
