Górnik Rokitnica's Ksawery Czysty was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Pihl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Boruc Raszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Pihl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boruc Raszek in the 11th minute. Erik Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Raszek in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Waselenczuk came free, but Erik Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Górnik Rokitnica's Lucjan Waselenczuk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Erik Pihl got control of the ball when Stanislaw Kasiewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Hugon Bambas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Górnik Rokitnica the free kick. A collision led to Raprerzy Nowy Sacz getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hugon Bambas hit a great ball. Lucjan Waselenczuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Erik Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Raprerzy Nowy Sacz from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wojciech Zerde was the one to do the kick off. It was a well-played corner which Roland Przybylo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 56 minutes into the match, Górnik Rokitnica's goalkeeper Tomasz Noworolnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Przybylo. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lucjan Waselenczuk sped through Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Pihl. Radowit Modrzewski hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Górnik Rokitnica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raprerzy Nowy Sacz the free kick. When Zdzislaw Jazwiec came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Raprerzy Nowy Sacz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Jazwiec couldn't finish the play. Tomasz Noworolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Zerde in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's Wojciech Zerde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomasz Noworolnik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 79 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Kasiewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Pihl. Raprerzy Nowy Sacz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislaw Kasiewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Roland Przybylo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Noworolnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wojciech Zerde in the 83rd minute.
