In the 44thth minute of the game Eugeniusz Walec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Górnik Rokitnica's Tomasz Noworolnik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Górnik Rokitnica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aleksander Pankowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Motor Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Motor Szczecin's Aleksander Pankowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomasz Noworolnik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

One of Motor Szczecin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Górnik Rokitnica:s goal. Borys Mielak hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Stanislaw Kasiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Rokitnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Kasiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Motor Szczecin booed when Górnik Rokitnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Birkenhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Motor Szczecin's Aleksander Pankowski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomasz Noworolnik but with some difficulty. In the 86th minute, Eugeniusz Walec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomasz Noworolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Walec in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Szymon Kluczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motor Szczecin and the Górnik Rokitnica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Górnik Rokitnica's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
