After 14 played minutes FC Devils got a freekick which was hit by Rangel Parashkevov. FC Devils's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Devils from getting a goal against them. Costică Iuzbașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aad Aab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Viktoras Rurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viktoras Rurin scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Iuzbașa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dariusz Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
