Leszek Cichocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Rzegotka, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Śląsk Katowice were awarded a corner. Marco Amaral went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marco Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barcelona's Leszek Cichocki did a great save. Barcelona's Leszek Cichocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Bronicki in the 88th minute of play.
