Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Skwira in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobald Dunajski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teobald Dunajski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Skwira's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Zula Gizynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teobald Dunajski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobald Dunajski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Skwira in the 15th minute of play. Teobald Dunajski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Gizynski in the 18th minute of the match. Marek Kopacz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Waldemar Skwira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Dunajski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobald Majczyk's late challenge caught a Gregersdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Majczyk helped the player get up and apologised. Teobald Majczyk hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zula Gizynski sped through Gregersdorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teobald Dunajski. Walery Kolacki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstanty Czeszyk got free with Walery Kolacki in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Zdzislaw Raszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Skwira was the one to do the kick off. Teobald Dunajski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Gizynski in the 51st minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Zula Gizynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zula Gizynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Zula Gizynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Dunajski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Skwira got free with Teobald Dunajski in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cezary Malik fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gregersdorf's protests and gave Cezary Malik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Juventus Bydgoszcz booed when Gregersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Malik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Skwira struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Teobald Dunajski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Bydgoszcz. Walery Kolacki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstanty Czeszyk went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Konstanty Czeszyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gregersdorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Tytus Bobrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Walery Kolacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zula Gizynski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teobald Dunajski came out and tried to block the shot, but Zula Gizynski slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, Gregersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Czeszyk to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Skwira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Teobald Dunajski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juventus Bydgoszcz succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gregersdorf had controlled the match.
