Spectators: 7412 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Artur Jurgiel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, GKS Pszczyna's Rostislav Vorobiev got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes RF Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Pracki. Witomir Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, RF Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Rostislav Vorobiev came free, but Witomir Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Robledo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Artur Jurgiel sent off a good shot on target. The GKS Pszczyna fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when GKS Pszczyna's Domingos Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Witomir Brudnicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Rybak in the 24th minute of the match. GKS Pszczyna were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after RF Karpaty Krosno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingos Andrade took the corner. After taking down the ball on GKS Pszczyna's corner Rostislav Vorobiev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Witomir Brudnicki quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match GKS Pszczyna got a corner. RF Karpaty Krosno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domingos Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Domingos Andrade almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RF Karpaty Krosno's Witomir Brudnicki did a great save. Domingos Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witomir Brudnicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, RF Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Andrade came free, but Witomir Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Vorobiev in the 33rd minute of play forced RF Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Witomir Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Zachemski might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Witomir Brudnicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachariasz Zachemski ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to RF Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Grzegorz Glaza hit a great ball. Domingos Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, RF Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Ludzia to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Domingos Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witomir Brudnicki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd match minute, RF Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Ruszkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Rostislav Vorobiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Brudnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Domingos Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witomir Brudnicki was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Andrade made a kick off. GKS Pszczyna's Rostislav Vorobiev got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zachariasz Zachemski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Witomir Brudnicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachariasz Zachemski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Zachariasz Zachemski sped through RF Karpaty Krosno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witomir Brudnicki. When Grzegorz Glaza fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RF Karpaty Krosno's protests and gave Grzegorz Glaza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, RF Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Glaza to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, GKS Pszczyna's Domingos Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witomir Brudnicki. Witomir Brudnicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Witomir Brudnicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachariasz Zachemski's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. RF Karpaty Krosno's Witomir Brudnicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save RF Karpaty Krosno from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, RF Karpaty Krosno's Witomir Brudnicki got control of the ball when Zachariasz Zachemski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Robledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ás Kier in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes RF Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Ludzia. Zachariasz Zachemski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Witomir Brudnicki made a huge save. Pawel Leper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Witomir Brudnicki made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Wieslaw Rybak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witomir Brudnicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Ás Kier took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Robledo. Marcelo Robledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. When the final whistle sounded GKS Pszczyna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RF Karpaty Krosno.
