Tanek Zielinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valērijs Bensons's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Rokita Brzeg Dolny were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FC Barcelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Aparecido took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Aparecido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Zielinski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tanek Zielinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valērijs Bensons went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valērijs Bensons scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanek Zielinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valērijs Bensons in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Zielinski saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Tanek Zielinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valērijs Bensons's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes, Valērijs Bensons made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC Barcelona's Tanek Zielinski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Valērijs Bensons made the kick off in the second half. Valērijs Bensons had several of the FC Barcelona's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Tanek Zielinski as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Valērijs Bensons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomil Plachetka hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Valērijs Bensons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valērijs Bensons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tanek Zielinski made a huge save. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Rokita Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Bugno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Carmine Pietrangelo in the 82nd minute really tested Tanek Zielinski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Bugajski in the 85th minute of play forced Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Klement Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Valērijs Bensons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Gabriel Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91st play minutes Valērijs Bensons shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Tanek Zielinski and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-14 when Fryderyk Pahucki sped through FC Barcelona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tanek Zielinski. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rokita Brzeg Dolny eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
