A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Ludomil Cebula recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tanek Zielinski. Ludomil Cebula showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valērijs Bensons in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Zielinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pawel Paciuszko kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A hard shot by Ludomil Cebula from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Tanek Zielinski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 27 minutes into the game, Honorato Escobar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barcelona the free kick. Valērijs Bensons's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tanek Zielinski firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Barcelona's Tanek Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Felenak in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Valērijs Bensons in the 55th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Tanek Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rokita Brzeg Dolny fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Valērijs Bensons looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
