After 18 played minutes FC Śledzie got a freekick which was hit by Leo Duran. Przemyslaw Pawlik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fryderyk Huratiak. FC Śledzie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute Robert Grunwalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Huratiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes FC Śledzie got a freekick which was hit by Leo Duran. The supporters of GKS Gierałtowice booed when FC Śledzie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davut Orgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, FC Śledzie's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Pawlik came free, but Fryderyk Huratiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GKS Gierałtowice's Tymoteusz Prus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Ferm in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Grunwalski in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Śledzie's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huratiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Maksymilian Frenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Huratiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Ferm who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Tymoteusz Prus's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Stefan Ferm was beeing forced to shoot. After 40 played minutes FC Śledzie got a freekick which was hit by Saad Fayez. 43 minutes into the game, GKS Gierałtowice's Olgierd Grunwalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fryderyk Huratiak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Maksymilian Frenzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

50 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Pawlik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Gierałtowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Śledzie the free kick. A collision led to GKS Gierałtowice getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Przemyslaw Pawlik hit a great ball. In the 51st match minute, GKS Gierałtowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Pawlik to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Robert Grunwalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Huratiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Zdanowicz got free with Fryderyk Huratiak in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes GKS Gierałtowice got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Zdrojewski. When Lech Mentis fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Gierałtowice's protests and gave Lech Mentis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GKS Gierałtowice getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lech Mentis hit a great ball. Teobald Zdrojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. FC Śledzie made a substitution. Beniamin Hajduk replaced Zbyszek Kapelski. In the 73rd minute Robert Grunwalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Huratiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GKS Gierałtowice's Wit Zdanowicz suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. GKS Gierałtowice's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
